His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi directed to compensate the fishermen affected by the "waterfront" in Rams ( 2014-08-07 )
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, head of the Executive Council of the emirate, ordered to compensate the citizens fishermen who living in Rams region, affected by the project (the waterfront), to be implemented in Khour Coast at Rams City.
Ahmed Abdullah Al Aoamash, Chairman of the institution of Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi for maintenance and social services said: The Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah has assigned to the institution to follow up the matter of compensate the fishermen who affected by the vital project, and limit their number, and discuss the appropriate compensation with the stakeholders fishermen, and prepare a comprehensive report on the issue, to be submitted to his Highness.
The project requires the removal of the boxes of citizens fishermen on the coast of Khor Rams many years ago, and used by fishermen to store fishing gear and bait to lure fish, to be transported to a suitable location.
Al Amash stressed that initiative of His Highness the Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah to compensate fishermen affected by the waterfront project aims to support the rights of hunters.
